Texas Ranger Quilt with fleece backing for softness and comfort made as a gift for Mr Titus. The idea came for this from my wonderful week with my mother in law Lois at her home in Nebraska. We used some of concepts from Jenny Doan MSQC in a larger format and Viola an American classic... Well if you from Texas its an American Classic. Lots of care and Love went into if Mr. Titus a very dear 93 year old friend that loves his Rangers!!
These are some of the things I have been able to share and treasure every moment of them.

T Shirt Quilt with Custom Monogram Quilting Stitches
T shirt Quilt w Custom Quilting Stitches
This is made for a customer with 36 high school t shirts and a customized quilting design. I designed the quilting with his name and football number. All was coordinated with a Navy Marbled backing that represents his school colors. Being this large is a great weight for a college boy.

This is another quilt for Gateway in Grapevine. Quilted the fence railing to go with the farmer motif. Some baby will be very loved with all of the love and prayers I added to it for a special treat.
Fun with Lois and Jenny Doan MSQC pattern
Yellow n Black, Lois n Deborah Quilt
On a visit to my husbands hometown in Nebraska, his mother and I created this beautiful master piece from a Missouri Star Quilt Company Online Daily Tutorial she had seen and wanted to try... I think we did an amazing job and had a terrific time creating it. I then brought it home and quilted it and sent it to her to bind it. There is a fund raiser at their church in a month or so and it will be a auction item for a great cause.
Triangle, Triangles, Triangles and Flying Geese of course
Triangles, Triangles, Triangles
This quilt is for Gateway in Grapevine a fantastic organization.
A meandering over the triangles left the sashing with a great puff! You can just about see the geese flying off the quilt.

I have really been quilting and having fun with Ethan who is now almost 4 years old, Case Edward is now 18 months old, Olivia Grace is about to turn the big #1 in a couple of weeks and Switz #2 is on his way and should be arriving in November... with all of this I had to choose between quilting or blogging about it for the last two years. I chose to quilt in my spare 5 minutes a week and now I am going to post some of those quilts all at one time, but their creation has been over the last two years. I have had the great privilege and honor to be a part of the Gateway house in Grapevine Grand Opening. I have been able to use my God Gifts to help with one of his great missions of taking care of Mothers and their babies. God Bless everyone involved in this great endeavor.
